| STACY BEASLEY Ms. Beasley has represented clients in a broad range of commercial litigation matters including First Amendment, libel, business disparagement, employment discrimination, ERISA, bankruptcy, construction, landlord and tenant, insurance defense, Fair Housing Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, banking, immigration, and general contract law. She has trial experience at every stage of a lawsuit from extensive motion practice to depositions, mediations, hearings, jury trials, and appellate work. Ms. Beasley began her legal career at the Houston firm of Liddell, Sapp, Zivley, Hill & LaBoon in 1993 (now known as Locke, Lord, Bissell and Liddell). She joined Ogden, Gibson & White in 1994 as the firm's first associate attorney. After a brief sabbatical from the pratice of law to pursue other interests and to raise a family, she returned to private practice to add to her litigation experience at the international New York based law firms of Dewey Ballantine (now known as Dewey & LeBoeuf) and Weil, Gotshal & Manges. In addition, she practiced law at the Houston litigation firm of Ahmad, Zavistsanos & Anaipakos. She re-joined the firm in 2009. Ms. Beasley received her J.D. from the University of Houston
Law Center in 1992, and her Bachelor of Journalism from the University
of Texas at Austin. She is also a mediator with formal mediation training
through the Dispute Resolution Center in Austin, Texas, and she serves
as a volunteer mediator at the Fort Bend Dispute Resolution Center. |
